long table helpful staff lunch buffet underwhelming experience practical feeling lacking warmth
the staff helped arrange a long table for our family gathering. jasmine lo and kelvin lui were especially helpful. we had a good lunch buffet together. we appreciate their service.
the overall hotel experience felt underwhelming for a 5-star hotel. it felt more like a very good 4-star. everything felt transactional and practical. the experience lacked warmth and soul.

amazing stay!
excellent service chocolate bar
Joe, kelvin, and the team provided excellent service. joe's caring service and kelvin's sweet chocolate bar surprised us. my friends and i enjoyed a relaxing afternoon tea, a post-birthday celebration. the staff's food, service, and friendliness were appreciated. We will be back.
The location isn't that great. It feels a bit outdated. i wouldn't consider this a true five-star hotel. the hotel needs some updates to meet expectations.

snack bar comfortable mattress
the breakfast buffet offered many choices that were vegetarian friendly. a free snack bar had sufficient drinks and snacks. i could stream netflix via apple tv upon request. the mattress was really comfortable and ensured sound sleep.

the manager was attentive to my needs and very considerate. some staff guided me to visiting places. they explained how to navigate the city via buses and mtr trains. this helped me avoid getting lost.

Excellent service makes the difference!
attentive staff great view free breakfast delicious food
The staff was attentive and friendly. Concierge Cody was eager to help and knowledgeable too. I had a room on the 24th floor, and it featured a great view. Access to the 26th floor food services was a bonus, and free breakfast and cocktails were available. The food was really delicious.
I requested room service, and an item went missing. This was very unpleasant.

The breakfast included both Western and Eastern options with great variety. I also ate at Green in the lobby one evening, and the meal tasted delicious. The restaurant manager was attentive to every detail.

The service at check-in was very professional, and the staff always acted polite. Club-level staff provided amazing service and readily attended my needs. The housekeeping staff made sure the room was very clean. They checked in twice daily.

The hotel offered a gym and a swimming pool, providing recreational choices. I noted that the pool area had enough loungers and also a shaded section. The gym included treadmills and stationary bikes for exercising, with updated info on pool chemical levels.

The hotel is situated about a ten-minute walk from two subway stations. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk to the Star Ferry pier, a nice distance from the crowds. Taxis can easily access the cross-harbor tunnel nearby.
